Turn the value-creation thesis into stronger systems, stronger teams, and repeatable performance.

TNO supports sponsors, operating partners, portfolio executives, and management teams through explicitly scoped operating workflow improvement and post-acquisition execution. We verify causes with the people doing the work, improve processes, govern automation, develop leaders, and transfer capability to client owners. Client-requested diligence workflow support uses only authorized information and does not serve Seed acquisition sourcing.

From thesis to repeatable performance

Evidence-led operating support that strengthens the management team.

TNO helps investors and management teams build a shared operating fact base, isolate the few constraints that matter most, and translate the value-creation thesis into accountable execution. The work is designed with the people who will own it, so new routines and improvements remain useful after the engagement ends.

How we work

Focused support, practical implementation, and capability transfer.

Most private equity work begins remotely through structured interviews, data review, and focused working sessions. TNO works on site when direct observation, team alignment, or implementation requires it. Every engagement has a defined question, owner, baseline, decision, and transfer plan.

Clear lane separation

TNO services and Seed Holdings investment activities have distinct scopes, permissions, files, decision rights, and conversations. A separate Seed conversation requires explicit mutual interest and does not itself authorize information reuse. Confidential client information cannot be reused for sourcing, underwriting, or outreach without the client’s explicit written authorization for that specific use. TNO’s duty to its client comes first.

Focused diagnostic

Establish the current state, verify root causes, quantify the value, and identify the practical next move.

Value-creation planning

Translate the thesis into sequenced initiatives, owners, milestones, and operating measures.

Execution support

Work alongside management to remove constraints, establish cadence, and implement the agreed future state.

Interim operating capacity

Targeted leadership and program support when a critical initiative needs additional bandwidth.

Leader and team enablement

Teach the methods, provide reusable materials, coach client leaders, and let the team practice on the operating problem. The client retains operating approvals and ownership.

Transfer and sustainment

Agree the ownership handoff, measures, review cadence, and escalation paths. Include adoption checks and 30/60/90-day learning reviews where defined in the engagement scope.

A focused first conversation

What portfolio constraint is holding back people or performance?

Share the portfolio context, the operating question, and the result the business needs. TNO will help define a focused scope that solves the current problem while strengthening the team responsible for what comes next.

TNO client value and the relationship to Seed Holdings

True North Operations (TNO), the operational improvement division of Seed Holdings, delivers standalone client value whether or not an acquisition is ever discussed. TNO protects its duty to the client first. Service qualification and success depend on the client’s operating needs and agreed scope, never on acquisition attractiveness.

Before an acquisition, TNO’s value comes from trust, operating insight, stronger processes, and capable leaders developed through authorized client service. This work is not covert diligence and does not supply Seed with sourcing or underwriting intelligence. After an acquisition, separately authorized TNO work supports evidence-based improvement, governed automation, leadership development, and client-owned operating capability.

A TNO relationship may develop into a broader Seed Holdings investment or acquisition conversation only through explicit mutual interest. Never pressure a client or presume acquisition fit. Declining or ending that conversation does not reduce TNO’s service commitment or make client value contingent on a transaction.

Never reuse confidential client information for sourcing, underwriting, or outreach without explicit written authorization from the client for the specific separate use. Interest in a conversation, shared ownership, a referral, an NDA, or permission to perform TNO services does not by itself authorize that reuse.

Keep service and investment scopes, permissions, files, decision rights, and conversations distinct. TNO facilitates and recommends within the service scope; the client retains operating approvals and ownership. Seed’s authorized investment decision makers manage any separately agreed investment process. No investment, acquisition, or operating outcome is guaranteed.
